In the past few days, the Yixin Farm in Ningbo Golden Orchard, located in Zhenhai, has seen a bumper harvest. Zhenhai local early ripening peach called "Dabaochiyue" hangs heavily on the branches, which is very attractive.
"It time to reap the early peaches. The price is nice, and both online and offline orders are on a large amount," said Yang Yixin, head of Ningbo Golden Orchard Base.
"Dabaochiyue" is bright in color and has nice appearance. Big and plump in size, each weighing eight to ten ounces.
According to the field measurement, the sweetness of "Dabaochiyue" is above 13 degrees, and is fragrant when you bite into lips and teeth. At the same time, the farm cooperates with Ningbo Academy of Agricultural Sciences to plant with selenium-enriched technology, which is rich in nutrients.
Now, the 1.647 acres of "Dabaochiyue" peach in the Farm can be picked three or four thousand kilograms per day. The picking period is about 10 days, and the market price is around 30 yuan per kilogram.
